iQrypto / Resources / VERA software evaluation

Explore the VERA software stack.

Use the shared GUI and API to test host communication and application integration in your own environment.

One software stack, two evaluation purposes.

VERA-T is a classical TRNG USB kit with the same VERA GUI and API as VERA-Q. It gives your team a starting point for checking how an application requests and consumes random numbers.

VERA-Q is the kit for evaluating quantum-origin entropy. It requires a separate shortlist request. Software checks with VERA-T do not establish VERA-Q source performance.

Before starting, confirm the supported host platform, kit contents and supplied software releases with iQrypto. Use the installation instructions supplied for that configuration.

What to try in your environment.

  1. Connect the kit to your host.

Follow the supplied installation instructions. Record your operating system, device revision and GUI/API releases, then check device access and host communication.

  2. Try the GUI workflow.

Work through the supplied GUI instructions. Check how you request random output and how the workflow fits your team's evaluation tasks.

  3. Connect your application through the API.

Use the supplied API documentation to request output from your application. Test your own request pattern and record the behaviour your application needs.

  4. Check startup and interrupted operation.

Record what happens when the host or device restarts, and when the connection is interrupted. Agree how your application should respond before wider integration.

Choose your VERA evaluation path.

One GUI and API across the family. Start with VERA-T for the software workflow, or request VERA-Q to evaluate quantum entropy.

Evaluation kits may be purchased or loaned depending on requested volume and the business case. VERA-Q samples are available on request in very limited quantities; discuss quantum-entropy evaluation separately after working with VERA-T.

Submitting an inquiry does not place an order or guarantee an evaluation kit.
